The voting is complete and Fang A. Wong was elected American Legion National Commander for 2011-12 at our National Convention. National Commander Wong is a Vietnam veteran, and will represent the 2.9 Million members of the American Legion.
The New York Legionnaire and member of Lt. B.R. Kimlau Post 1291 in New York City said the future of the organization depends on welcoming younger veterans into the fold, as well as advocating on their behalf.
