Vice Commander Receives National Appointment

The American Legion National Commander Fang Wong of the Department of New York has announced the  national appointment of District Vice Commander Lee Heavlin as a general member of the National Foreign Relations Council of The American Legion.  The term of this appointment extends to the close of the 2012 Fall Meeting of he National Executive Committee.

This appointment, upon the recommendation of State Department Officers, was confirmed by the National Executive Committee at its meeting, October 12-13, 2011.
