We are busy shopping, sorting, buying, eating, calling, celebrating, and the many other things of a busy Christmas holiday season. Yet, in cemeteries across America there are those who once shared these great moments with us. Let’s not forget them.
Take time to mark the grave of your local heroes and family veterans at Christmas. Let not their stone grow cold for lack of a rememberance. Share your Christmas with those who have served and have answered their last roll call. Keep their memories alive and part of your family’s Christmas.
Wreaths Across America started small in 1992 with the decoration of 5,000 graves at Arlington. Now they are providing wreaths in the hundreds of thousands. What started simply as a remembrance at Christmas is now a national program of remembering and honoring the graves of our fallen heroes. Here is their story.
