Music Plays In Chapel Hill for Vets

Chapel Hill Post 6 is hosting the 2012 Chapel Hill Marathon Jam to raise money for The Fisher House Foundation.  It is this Saturday, February 25th, from 1 p.m. to 1 a.m.  This is the fifth year that Chapel Hill has provided space for the event.  Directions to post

This event raised $8,000 last year in a poor economy.  The goal is to exceed last year’s sum and add a few thousand more.

Local musicians jam for twelve hours.  It is mostly Bluegrass, but all other types of music are also played.  Why not take a little time off from shopping and support a great cause.  The music is great and you are helping fund temporary housing for service men and women with family in the hospital at Camp Lejeune and Fr.
