State Convention June 12-15th

The 2013 American Legion State Convention is this week.  Convention dates are June 12 – 15 June 2013. It is held in Raleigh, NC, at the North Raleigh Hilton and is open to all post members.  Our post will receive an award for its web site during the convention.

Attention Post Adjutants.  Post membership cards and rosters are passed to district posts at the convention.  If you are not attending, please ensure your post commander or convention delegate team picks up your post’s membership packet.

Not all members can attend our state convention, but you can be better informed about what your American Legion is doing to protect and defend veterans benefits as our national  adjusts its national priorities.  Here are important items affecting you and our veterans:
