District Oratorical Contest Held

District Posts converged on Chapel Hill Post 6 Saturday, January 17th, to select a district winner for the Oratorical Content.

Ms.  Liduviana Veintimilla won district honors and will now go on to Division III competition with a chance to continue on to the North Carolina Department finals.  Ms Veintimilla was sponsored by John Gault, Durham Post 7.

A special “thank you” goes to Durham Post 7, Mebane Post 95, and Chapel Hill Post 6 members and Ladies Auxiliaries for their support.  They provided judges, tabulators, escorts, and timekeepers.  Without their help, this event would not have been held.
