Johnny Clinton, Post Commander of Lowes Grove Post 416 needs our help. Last June his post suffered significant water damage. They are trying to clean up their post home to make it useable.
They are in need of some volunteer help to lay flooring (around 1350 sqft) and, hopefully, do some concrete work in the Post’s breezeway. Painting is needed around the whole building, landscaping work is needed, and a few other things are too. There is something for everyone no matter what your talents are. This is a Veterans Helping Veterans community project.
You can also help by sharing his information with other veterans and your friends in the VFW, DAV, and other civic groups. “All are welcome.”
On November 5th, around 8 a.m., the Post will finally be able to move back into their building after their heavy water damage to the inside of their building. Commander Clinton said, “If anyone would like to come help clean and organize, please let me know. My direct telephone number is 919-397-8993. If there is no answer, please leave a message.” You can also email him jclinton8@gmail.com
Commander Clinton can also use help with organization and just plain “roll your sleeves up” help. Contac him so that he can provide snacks for breakfast. He is working on a head count.
