Veterans Day in Durham

The Durham County Veteran Services would like to invite you to join them on Tuesday, November 11th as Durham County holds its annual Veterans’ Day Recognition and Celebration Program from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. The event will be held at the Durham County Health and Human Services Building located at 414 East Main Street, 2nd Floor Public Meeting Room. Vets Offered No-cost PC Repairs

A local Hillsborough business is offering no-cost computer repair to local area veterans. This service includes software repair and parts installation. The benefactor does not sell the veteran parts, but can assist them in getting the parts at local parts centers. Continue reading

Career Fair in Chapel Hill

Navy to Honor World War II Veteran

The U.S. Navy will be honoring Jerry Smith, a member of Durham Post 7, on August 27th in the afternoon. The Navy is honoring him as a surviving World War II Seabee turning 100 years old. Continue reading

Werden Wins District Oratorical Contest
