Veterans Day in Durham

The Durham County Veteran Services would like to invite you to join them on Tuesday, November 11th as Durham County holds its annual Veterans’ Day Recognition and Celebration Program from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. The event will be held at the Durham County Health and Human Services Building located at 414 East Main Street, 2nd Floor Public Meeting Room. Chapel Hill Post 6 announced today that they have started to rebuild their local post library. It was closed down after 9/11 to send books to Iraq for newly deployed soldiers. Continue reading

District Meeting – Jul 27

District Commander Joel Lipsey has called a meeting for July 27th. Chapel Hill Post 6 will host it. The meeting starts at 1 pm in the afternoon. The meeting is located at the Chapel Hill Post Home at 1714 Legion Road, Chapel Hill. The post is located one block from the Chapel Hill Sheraton Hotel. Continue reading

Visit a School on Veterans’ Day
